TIGA event in Bournemouth to highlight benefit of new Games Tax Relief

A series of free events to discuss the recently introduced Games Tax Relief is a brand new initiative from The Independent Games Developers Association (TIGA), set to take place across the UK.

Every event will include industry expert guest speakers as well as local game developers to explore practical ways to navigate around the video games tax relief newly approved by the EU Commisson.

The main aim of the events is to help developers understand how it will benefit their games studio.

Bournemouth will play host to a Games Tax Relief Q&A Series at The Executive Business Centre, Bournemouth University Lansdowne Campus on Friday 27th June between 6.00pm – 7.30pm, followed by networking drinks.

Industry speakers will include TIGA secretary, Vincent Schereur, Bournemouth University’s Acting Framework Leader for Creative Technology, Dr Christos Gatzidis as well as Peter Denison-Pender from MMP Tax Ltd.

All game developers, whether TIGA members or non-members, are welcome to attend for free and food and drink is provided at every event.

TIGA look to encourage networking and sharing of knowledge between both experts and attendees.

Other Games Tax Relief Q&A Series locations include: Dundee, Nottingham, Bath, Cardiff, Leamington Spa, and Edinburgh.

There is limited space at each event, so it is best to register as early as possible at your nearest location.
